Our party of 5 (including 3 kids aged 10-13) had the best time kayaking on the upper Kangaroo River. Mike was an awesome host and gave us great instruction. We navigated some fun small rapids and laughed our way down the river. Highly recommended! Ask Mike about his Adventure tours and Platypus spotting too.

We had such a great experience with canoe hire from this company. There were a few options in town but we were delighted with our choice. Mike is such a great host. He answered all of our questions and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were apprehensive about solo canoes but Mike was very reassuring and we are so happy he encouraged us with this choice as we had a magnificent time on the river together.

I took my two boys with mates and Mike from KVAC was amazingly helpful and flexible in tailoring something so we could have a great time canoeing on the river. He is extremely knowledgeable about the local area including giving me plenty of advice about local MTB trails for when I come back without the kids.

Mike was so lovely and persuaded us to do the single kayaks as you have more control over yourself and more freedom. It was one of the best experiences I have ever done. Beautiful scenery and so peaceful. Super affordable, such a friendly, upbeat and encouraging guy and an experience worth every penny!

We started the day wondering if we shouldn’t go to the pub and read a book instead, as it was a rainy misty morning….. And then we met Mike! What a great day we had, he is full of energy and positive vibes and went out of his way to make us discover the Valley and explore amazing spots! More than highly recommend.

Mike Hayes is a great host. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Good prices and the river is great fun! A few good sized rapids to get the heart rate up and plenty of wildlife around too! Will definitely be back.
